Gonstead care
The Gonstead adjustment
After a complete analysis, Dr. Huddleston adjusts only the problem areas, as specifically and precisely as possible.
Specific, precise and accurate
The focus of the Gonstead adjustment is to be as specific, precise and accurate as possible, addressing only the problem areas (areas of subluxation). Great care is taken to set up a biomechanically correct position and a precise thrust, for the most accurate and comfortable adjustment possible.
The spine is never twisted and no excessive force is used. The goal is to restore and maintain health by finding and correcting interference with the nervous system caused by vertebral subluxation.
How you are positioned
It depends on the area being adjusted: sitting in the cervical chair for the neck, lying on your side, or lying face down on the table.

Three ways an adjustment is given

Dr. Huddleston is, without doubt, one of the very best chiropractors I have had adjust me. He always finds the tricky problem areas and with minimal force gets me back in line.
Before any adjustment: the analysis
Every adjustment is based on the Gonstead analysis: posture, the Nervo-Scope, palpation still and in motion, and X-rays where they are needed. Nothing is adjusted that the findings do not point to.
